Boat Review
If you are looking for your first boat, want to learn to sail or you are a very competitive racer then the Albacore is the boat for you. A deep, airfoil section centreboard makes the Albacore very manoeuvrable. The rig uses swept spreaders to support a tapered mast and adjustable jib halyard. The boat allows both light and heavy crews to race together in most of the extreme weather conditions. The powerful, rig and easily driven hull give an excellent performance. The Albacore is restricted so the hull shape and sail plan don’t change, meaning the boat you buy this year won’t be out of date or obsolete next year. The boat is both simple to start using and one that will challenge you for years to come.
