Boat Review
This traditional and distinctive fishing boat was designed to be sailed from beaches rather than harbours. There are many sizes of the Coble but all have the same features and design. The bow is slim and deep towards the lower part. On the traditional Cobles there was no deck and they were single masted. Now they have shelter and a small deck and the Coble is made from oak and larch. The boat is easily launched and dragged ashore by a group.
