Boat Review
They were the first boats to be mass-produced and the first to be built using modern techniques such as hot moulding. The Firefly is suitable for anyone looking for a cheap two-person dinghy and has a crew weight of 17-24 stone. The boat is ideal for racing and is very robust as internal stiffness is provided by the half and side decks, keel and buoyancy tanks. There is minimal maintenance, however there are weak spots that may need attention. The hull shape of the Firefly is like the profile of a whale. They perform consistently well in all conditions.
