Boat Review
The Graduate was contemporarily designed and to make it more affordable plywood was used instead of the solid wood used on most boats. The design incorporated built in buoyancy tanks eliminating the troublesome plastic bags in use at the time. Ideal for cruising, racing and popular with both new and experienced sailors. New boats are not always needed for the best performance and there is a lively second-hand market. Simple DIY maintenance of the wooden hull and foils, or even building of a new boat reduces the cost, making the Graduate an inexpensive introduction to the excitement of sailing. It is easily towed behind most cars meaning it can be taken wherever you wish.
