Boat Review
The Kestrel is a conventional boat designed for two with a spinnaker and no trapeze. It is easy to manoeuvre and is stable in its trolley so there are no real problems getting the boat into the water. The Kestrel was designed to be suitable for all ages and abilities and is roomy enough for two sailors. The non-slip finish in the bottom should keep everyone safe. The Kestrel seems to go best in open water with winds between force 2 and 3, however the stable yet easily steered hull makes it achieve good results in almost any wind condition. The Kestrel is versatile and can be used for a gentle cruise but is also one of the fastest non-trapeze racing dinghies around. To sum up the Kestrel, it is a predictable and reliable sailing boat.
