This nearly 5m long boat is one that can be enjoyed for many years as it has a reputation for being tough and a very seaworthy dinghy. However this doesn’t make the Wayfarer boring, it is an excellent racer and provides a very rewarding sail. Since the Wayfarer was originally designed there have been improvements in materials and production techniques, which have lead to a variety of different versions all sharing the same hull, shape and sail plan.
