Our online quote facility will allow you to get a quote and pay online for the majority of popular vessels. For vessels not catered for, you can still submit the details and we will respond to you within 24 hours with a quote.

We will send you a reminder before your insurance is due for renewal and if none of your details have changed (apart from an additional years No Claims Bonus) we can simply process the payment and issue your new documents.

It`s Simple to Make a Claim

In the unfortunate event of an accident, Cover My Boat will provide you with a fast and effective Claims Process.

There are some important points to follow should an accident occur:

  • Ensure the police are notified in the event of an injury
  • Note the names and contact details of all parties involved in the accident
  • Keep a record of the date, time and location
  • Obtain the name and model of the other boat, the skipper and the owner
  • Make a note of the other vessels insurance company

Boat Trailer Insurance

If you are unfortunate enough to have your boat stolen from your home or storage area, it may be mounted on your trailer at the time and standard boat insurance policies are unlikely to cover you for this additional loss.
